I think that everyone is probably getting pretty busy with the holidays already.  I think it might be a good idea to postpone the next Craft Circle until after the holidays.  Let me know what you think.  Of course, I'll be crafting anyway so if anyone wants to join me just let me know ;-)

It sounds like most people are up for making soaps at the next meeting.  I found a few neat projects we could try.  The next meeting will be at my house on Nov 6 at 7pm again.  Please let me know if you're planning to come.  I'm posting the projects below.  Let me know what you think!

Anyone have any interest in making Christmas/Holiday cards for the next meeting?  I have tons of stamps and paper already.  If anyone has scrapbooking supplies we could use those as well.  I'll take some pictures of my stamps and post them next week.

Next Meeting

Since I'm going to be on vacation next week I think it might make more sense to push back our next meeting to November 6.  So far I'm planning to host again at my house (unless someone else wants to).  I'm still taking craft ideas and I'll continue posting them so all of you can decide what we want to do next.

Make Your Own Vanilla Extract

It's not even October and I'm already starting to think about holiday baking.  I think I'm going to be in trouble this year ;-)  I came across this article on making your own vanilla extract.  This stuff is really expensive (at least the real stuff is) and I seem to always be running out of it.  I thought this might be a fun craft to do sometime.  You can make large batches and then bottle it up as gifts too.  Let me know what you think!
